Ahhh yes... nothing like life down in the hole. One thing that always struck me as odd about the 87s is their exhaust routing. Are there dampers inside so you can seal them off if you're running on one main?

Anyone have access to an oxy-acetylene setup, preferably with a rose-bud tip?

Hi all, I'm a newbie here. I've been keeping an eye on the thread for a bit and thought I'd say hi. I'm new to the Lynden area as of last August, picked up a new (to me) 98 Tacoma Limited in November, and I'm really looking forward to exploring the area this summer. I'm not looking to do anything extreme, currently the truck is pretty much stock, but would love to hear some suggestions for good places to explore and any "must have" modifications or add on that people would recommend.

    **bump

I'll be relocating to Bellingham from LA next month. Would love to plan a trip out to camp or explore some trails in the county, or nearby.

What are you looking for (model years / TRD sport/OR/SR5)?

I drive around a lot with my work so I can keep my eyes open if I see something.

I'm in Orange County right now. I'm actually moving from Oahu. Just stopped by home for a bit while my truck was getting shipped. I'll be getting there on the 23rd. It'd be awesome to get something going!

^I moved up from Huntington Beach 2 summers ago. I'm a much happier person up here. My only advice is just try not to engage or enrage the hippy/liberal/communist/socialist/anarchist/vegan/anti-capitalists... Out on the island, I have to walk on egg shells.

Thanks for the support! If it looks solid (no rust), not beat to hell, and has less than 100k mi. for under $15K, preferably a lot less, word up! But, I'm a car guy & I'm being a procrastinating schizoid little bitch  about what I'm seeking... Everything is dependent upon me selling my truck. And since I've taken such good care of it, and it only has 23.5k mi., I don't know what to ask for it. The market value and condition of all Tacos does not seem to reflect the asking prices of them.o_O However, unsure of my asking price, I made the decision Friday to sell my truck and get a '97 RC 5 spd. 4x4 with 92k mi. in Portland in superb shape for $10k. But of course, it's gone because I watched it for 2 weeks and it was a fantastic deal... My mind is open to anything clean, reasonably priced & low mileage RC/AC 1995-2012, but I'm partial to 1st Gen. AC 2002-04 like a lot of people. And seeing it typed out, I'm already doing mental back flips about my search criteria...:goingcrazy:

    thanks for the tag Mike

I have a 04 Access Cab, 4x4, TRD (rear locker) clean title ~125k miles (think its 123 but round up for expectations)

I am getting ready to put it on the market, just changing a few things first. (taking it back to stock nearly)
