You're trying to drive down onto the shoreline of the nooksack? After you pass the casino on 542 there is a dirt road that takes you there. Some pretty deep ruts to navigate through but it'll bring you right now to the river

I'm liking the sound of this, but where is there a casino on 542??

The casino shut down awhile back but the market and Chevron gas station still remain.

Dude hell yeah! Thanks! Is that a popular place to go? I wanna go down there and camp, but probably won't be able to until next year because of weather. But I'll def take a drive down there.

Well, I spent about 6 hours trying to troubleshoot my 4WD issue with no success, but I will be there Sunday in my 5th gen 4Runner. A friend of mine with a 60 series Cruiser is interested in coming, can we accommodate one more?

Definitely. I'm putting together a list of stuff to bring and general info for everyone going. I'll send everyone a PM shortly.

You won't require 4WD for the trip. It's an easy drive that CRV's can travel.

Does small game license require a test, or can I go get one at the Fred Meyers for a fee?
Are you up for next weekend?

If you were born after 1972 I think, you have to take the test which often takes months to find an open class.

    Hey again folks,

I'm posting this up on TW to let you guys know I'm available for service on your trucks and 4Runners.

I'm a tech at a recognized indie shop in Bellingham, Automotive Science degree, ASE certified, practice on-going Toyota technical training as well as aftermarket (Worldpac, AC Delco) and have professional background as a tech for Lexus.

If you're looking to save some money by not paying shop prices, let me know. I'll be dealing with work on an individual basis because some work I'm not willing to do in a driveway.

    Brakes, oil, valve covers, basic
Repairs, odds & ends, let me know. PM if you're interested. I'm not looking for a side business, just occasional small jobs to keep me busy while I'm new in town. Possibly some networking, and making new acquaintances.
