OK - I can't make the 22nd - got to help a buddy move to a place in Curlew. However I'm still all-in for something on the weekend of the 28th.

i might do that, but i doubt it. i want to get the add a leaf for the rear, and a spacer for the front. no money for those yet, and on top of that, time is scarce for me. i don't want to tear into it on a weekday, and only 1 weekend left before then, which is already booked up.

Hey who here has a CB radio? I just finished wiring mine up today. I could hear chatter on the freeway about six miles away. Very blurry, I'm gonna test it more on my way down to redmond in the morning.

I have a CB radio, Nick. I work in Redmond most days. I also have an SWR meter if you want to test/tune your setup. I seemed to be able to receive transmission from Issaquah clearly from the 405/90 interchange but haven't tried sending yet.

That would be great. Yeah I can hear faint chatter but can't make out what anyone is saying. I was gonna just turn the knob on the top of the antenna until it sounds clear haha. I figured if we are gonna be doing trail runs or a trip to moses it would be nice if we all had CBs

i will already be at a campsite, not at the fortune creek trail itself, but back a little ways. if you search Salmon La Sac, WA on google maps, Salmon La Sac Road heading north/south is the road to take to fortune creek trail, and i will be camped out at the first bridge south of where Salmon La Sac is listed (find NF-4309). I will be on the west side of the river, south side of the bridge, and going out wednesday afternoon once i am out of work. there is plenty of space for anybody else to camp there, and if you do camp there, we have a full setup between what everybody brings for cooking dinner, breakfast, etc. just make sure to bring food and beverage with you. camping is really an excuse for drinking.
