Anyone's welcome to try it haha. A guy made it up in a stock 02 taco with 31" tires. Granted he was hammered and more than likely on some drug.. Still made it!

 

The drugs do help.

 

Any good power coating shop recommendations for the Seattle area, preferably the Eastside? Looking to coat some sliders.

x2, they did the seat parts and a few engine parts for my FJ40.

just my $.02, on sliders if you are going to actually use they you will want to touch them up. I would recommend avoiding powder coating for them. Prime them with etching primer, paint them with spray or roll on bed liner for texture, and spray paint over that. That way when they get dinged up you can just touch them up with spray paint rather than pay to re-powder coat them. I just did this last week myself for me second set of sliders.

Completely valid point. I am putting them on as more of an insurance policy (or so I tell myself) and think I would prefer the stronger powder coat over the rattle can. If I have to touch them up after being used, I will just rattle can it. Being a slider it doesn't have to look perfect.

 

Hey Ryland, I used www.thermotechcoatings.com in Monroe on my sliders. They did a good job for a reasonable price. They also gave me some touch up paint for them when needed as well.

 

So who's free next week and perhaps wants to help throw these on?

OME-BP51 front and rear shocks.
I haven't ever mounted shocks with a reservoir before.

 

Nice. Reservoirs are easy to mount, should say in the instructions where to mount them. Fronts will be mounted in the sway bar mounting holes

 

Probably going to hit Fortune creek tomorrow morning and see if its been enough yet

 

Hey I just picked up an FJ40! A 76. Will be a ton of work though. Did you stick with the 2F in it?

Did it come with a bracket for the res? I dont mind helping if you come to me lol. Really though it is easy
