Check with Boeing. They are slightly faster than government getting back to you about a job but that should have a position to keep you working on or near turbine engines.

There is the Boeing 737 Max plant at Renton Landing.
There are also some additional plants in the Auburn/Algona areas.

I would look for a headhunter that can place you in the job based on your quals.

    EDIT:
ok, that was a duh moment for me as I read only the "jet engines" part not the ship propulsion part..:anonymous:

Careful you don't lean out the motor without the cats. More flow is useless without more fuel plus you loose low end tq. You do get more power, just in the higher rev range.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I would... if it was closer. Long drive home after a few drinks.

My plan was to install the ucon ems which comes with a cooler t-stat so the ems can throw more fuel at it and exhaust cam gears which allow less exhaust scavenging. They are mostly for supercharged applications, but they have a n/a tune for guys with intakes and exhaust etc.... Could see "up to" 50hp with just those mods.

I held off on buying a used ucon, after talking with urd they said to not buy a ucon without the cam gears. They wouldn't give me a reason as to why I couldn't just buy the cam gears separately. I'm guessing it's just that they want me to pay $1500 to them and not pay half the price and pickup the cam gears separately, which they didn't say yes they are available separately, but they didn't say no.

You plan on retarding the gearing? How many degrees?
