dude, most likely they will try to blame it on your tires or lift, at renton toyota they said it was my tires creating the vibration (BS). The TSB fix only gives them 2 shop hours to complete, so i am guessing its not worth their time and try to flat out blame it on something else. Its their tech and service advisers against your words..

not really worth your time to argue with them

I will be doing the ecgs bushing as well in the future.

just do it yourself. Its not that hard... pull the cv, pull the stock needle bearing and replace it. Takes maybe an hour.

I surfed 12' faces at Blacks and some winter swell that started breaking at the end of Scripps pier (screw up and you are in for the rinse cycle 4 times or more), but nothing like pipeline.

yeah im sure that's whats gonna happen too uuuggghhhhh I guess im one of the few members who have bad luck with their trucks uuuugghhhhh.

I would but not too mechanically incline, therefore again this is my first time even messing with the driveline. I would rather have someone who knows how to do it and I can help and learn It.

Where ever you go when it's big, expect the washer machine. Pipe is even more dangerous because of the caves. I've had my share of drinking sea water to the point of nearly drowning. Not a good feeling. I didn't know u surfed. Maybe when I go home this time I will come back with a stick and go surfing with you. Of course I gotta get a wetsuit 1st

Again it pretty simple, you can't really mess it up. A good way to learn is just to tear it apart and figure it out. EGCS even has videos around i think of an install and removal.

Ship them up, so we can surf/camp.

Shit I turn 44 in 3 months. The only time u will ever c me on a tanker is when I'm surfing with my 7yr old boy. Same as my Dad did with me. Although I was surfing by myself at 5yrs old. If we still lived on Oahu, my boy would of started before that.

@Skootter14 think you'd said after Christmas on the new diff. if you decide to install it your self I can help ya if you let me know when. you provide everything and I'll provide the tools and a body :)

Really same goes for anyone. I'm willing to help do whatever. but you'd damn well better be helping and learning to do it! you can ask @Kappes03 what to expect if ya really need. about the only thing I'm not super confident in is welding. but I work with guys who weld to nuclear pipe standards so compared to them I'm bolting together a welded joint.

sounds good, I'll let you know. I prefer to do all my mx myself/with others helping. When I called "Just Differentials" they had talked about doing the install and everything for like 1100$. I watched a few youtube videos about installing an air locker and nothing is too hard by any means, aside from the fact I've just never done one myself.

I am weighing the option of what will be more convenient. I think the ARB locker is like 900 by itself, so its just 200$ more, I may just have them install BUT I keep thinking in the back of my mind how much I like to work on my own truck.

I will keep you posted since I am trying to persuade my wife to agree to do it after christmas but before we go on a trip in early January. Thanks in advance man, it makes me want to do it in my garage even more now. I should have all the tools as well, put will def take anyone up on extra bodies just to work and hang out in a garage!
