    Are floor mats a mod?
Formerly sponsored by Victory Wetsuits and Bruce Jones/Robert August Surfboards. Longboards forever.
Plus, I can stand on the end of my board! Hahahahaha!
Surfed shorts and pigs all my life till about 30 or so, then really got into longboards.
Plus, I can paddle about 8 times from the outside and totally snake you!
    Yeah, I'm that guy. Sorry.
Plus, 55 next month, so ......
I can still snake u from outside and behind the peak! :D
Course, I might get beat up, but hey, I lived in Makiki, so I'm used to it!

Plus I was surfing at the same time as Greg Noll, so yeah, longboards...

Hey peeps! It's been a while since I've posted, again... I know... Been training for a new position at work and, well, you know how fun that can be. :frusty: I still read the posts, like them too! So not totally out of the loop!

:help: I'm looking to lift both my 16 Taco TRD OR DCLB and 97 T4R Limited and was wondering where a great company to take my business to is?!? I am willing to travel (within reason: WA, N Or) for a reputable company.
Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated?!? :mudding:

Mule is a highly recommended shop. if I needed work I would more than likely take it to them.

Come see me in Spokane tomorrow. We can swap out the OME with Dakar leaf pack for your stock suspension, and I'll give you a good deal on it too. Bring your man with you so you can teach him how your truck works too

No more short boards for me. I am knocking on the door of the age that starts with a 5.

Nick is a huge help and stand up guy. He's so proficient with lifts that we swapped mine out pretty quick without much issue.
I offered beer and food too but he said nah :pout:
I do have a couple simple things to knock out. Not sure when I'll get time plus the rainy days here makes it difficult.

Gorgeous box but damn $5600.....still, if it makes you money why not. Truck parts are more fun though

That's the thing. Tool boxes don't make you money. I've been doing fine without buying a snap on for 6 years.

At least a box will hold its value. Unlike truck parts.

Yeah anything Snapon / Matco / Mac will hold it's value. I have a 41" Husky tool chest in the garage that helps keep my tools organized but I don't use them on a daily basis to make a living so I can accept the lesser quality.

I've basically accepted that pretty much any truck mods done whether fancy suspension, armor or anything else -- you won't recoup the money if you sell the truck later on so I consider those things purely for my own enjoyment and part of making the truck mine.

Go to Costco, buy a better bigger box for $1k, all stainless, spend $3k on truck, save $1k
Strap- on boxes ain't that great.

Keep and eye out for a used ones... I bought my classic 72 for 1200.. almost brand new.... unless you need it now for work save the money.... my 3 boxes are all snap on as well and I stand by the quality but don't get raped on the new cost

Also if your planning on ever selling it then buy it in the classic colors...m red, black, blue..... way easier to sell

You could say the same about Tacoma's. Pro vs O/R and sport. Some people are willing to pay more for a less common item. I'm not familiar with snap-on line but know they make a damn good product. Most mechanic buddies I know have a love/hate relationship for the snap-on truck. Like they say, buy once cry once.

Get something cheaper, but still decent, then get truck parts too.

I am on a limited timeline to be able to get the suspension off and swap with stock. If you can make it over, even without your other half, say $600 to swap my OME for your stock stuff. About 35000 miles on it, but holding just fine. 885 coils, full Dakar leaf pack

Bummer dude...:( There's no way I can this weekend. Way too much holiday prep to deal with, and I would need to take the whole weekend to get over there, swap, then head back.

    Shit on a black truck.
Sounds like we need a MOD day. I will have a lift to put on fairly soon and not all that familiar under a truck.
