I figured as much. Good that the railroad is keeping busy. They tend to slow down a bit over the next few months. I've hardly talked to my dad or seen him much, he just happened to work 7 days on so was required to have 2-3 days off or something. Usually he texts me a couple times a week showing me deer that I can't shoot or the fish he's catching. Lol

On a side note, hanjin shipping is pretty much bankrupt, but there is still a lot of freight moving through the ports.

I've noticed that with Hanjin how does that work? I work on harbor island so I see them in and out.

The only reason I knew that hanjin was going through bankruptcy was that they where one of the opponent's to the NBA/NHL movement in Seattle saying the roads that would be eliminated affected their operations. When in reality theres 2-5 trucks a day that use the roads slated for development.

I did read that other shipping lines are picking picking up hanjins slack since they have containers and ships already packed, but their containers/assets will be phased out or reaportioned/auctioned.

If everyone could keep their eyes peeled for local sales, that'd be great. WTB bolt-on sliders, Snap-on boxes, and 5100s. IMG_0855.jpg

Ahh I see. Had a driver tell me that Hanjin declared bankruptcy and then my boss came in and said the same the next day.

I got my bolt-ons from demello but there will be plenty of black friday sales. Definitely the best time to buy right now usually get 15-20% off and free shipping should be pretty common.

For some reason I thought on your property you could legally shoot down a drone. However I just looked it up and it's a federal crime to shoot them down

Aren't all drones required to be FAA approved? If I can't see FAA tail numbers it's a Commie spy drone. Chootem junior! @JDAM just had a drone fly over him in the woods miles from private property in Idaho.

When I'm in firearm restricted areas hunting I carry a handful of bird shot with me, A: for grouse B: for PETA drones. There are actually people that use drones to disrupt hunters. Or even upland bird activists that rent out fields and blinds so actual hunters can't get spots to harvest ducks, pheasant etc....

Had to work some really shit cases at work, so I need to get away for a weekend to destress.

Any good trails that pop out near lakes or rivers (or water in general) in the central or south Washington Cascades? Want to head up before the snow level gets too high.

    That's nuts!

A few years back (probably 5 or more) we were hunting deer on our ranch and a little black helicopter was flying VERY low going up and down each canyon. Much of where he was was BLM or public, but he did check out a couple of our canyons. He had to of been scouting for elk, but we had no way of doing anything about it.

I considered trying to talk my dad into buying a drone to mess around with but I know it would escalate from messing around to actually trying to use it to locate animals. That's no bueno.

I can't believe you saw one though, that's insane. Isn't the range on those things not very far...?
