I saw a thing awhile back that a military base developed a "gun" that disrupts the signal to the drone, causing the default programming to kick in and have it land, at which point it is confiscated. Get something like that, land the drone, and accidentally run it over, or stomp on it.

Gallagher. Probably one of the best options for a guide out there would be @northwesttaco

I think it may be too late to get up to Gallagher. How ever I'm thinking about trying on Thursday..

I can have a go. I was going to try and visit that over the summer but between work and drill never found the time

I keep reading stories of people getting arrested for shooting down drones. Then I've heard plenty of arguments about how low they have to fly on your property before you can shoot it down. Seems like they have to be pretty damn low before it's invasion of privacy. There was just a little discussion in the WTF thread about it. And if they are FAA regulated would it be a federal crime if you got arrested?

hunting update, the bucks are head down and recklessly chasing the doe's. I passed on a buck yesterday that came within 20 yards. The doe saw me but he didn't care, he was all about that ass. He was a just a 2x2 so hoping for better.

From what I looked up it is indeed a federal crime to shoot them down whether on your property or not. I didn't find anything regarding the altitude.

Some of these bolt ons require drilling of the frame. Is this standard for bolt on sliders for the DCSB?

No drilling, full bolt on. I know Pelfrey makes good stuff, but does anyone have experience with these sliders? These are bad ass, and on sale!IMG_0863.jpg

Update on the axle saga. Shop couldn't get it out either! The mechanic has done 8 of the ecgs. bushings, and he said all of the axles just popped right out. On my next day off in 2 weeks, I'm going to try a big rig size ball joint separator, and if that doesn't work, I'll take it to Mule and they will have to drop the diff and split the case$$$$$.
Hopefully it doesn't Grenade before then.

Whats going on with your axle? You can't get the CVs to pop out of the front diff?

Some do some don't. I know BAMF, pelfreybilt and mobtown offer no drill sliders. @TacoSTIG has the BAMF ones

Drained my oil in the diffs after the 500 mile break in.... too many beers later and I stripped out the plug....some cussing and welding got the plug out. .... $17 dollars later and a trip to Toyota of Kirkland I got a replacment.

Time to beat on the gears and lockers ....

Genius! My bottom plug on the front was a bitch to get out. Ended up using an air hammer.

My Allpro's have I think 12 or 14 bolts on each side. Lots of drilling!
Use a cobalt bullet point drill. Goes thru like Butter.
Weld ons still stiffer tho. Even with full back plates and a zillion bolts, my frame still twists enough that I have marks from the cab pinch weld. Course, I hit stuff pretty hard sometimes. Guess I need to be more careful.....

I did it to myself... I realized I forgot to put in the brass crush washer when I originally installed them. The steel plug must have buried into the aluminum casing..I'm surprised it didn't leak.. oh well... it's out now

When I did diff, transmission and transfer case fluids on mine, the front diff was a MOFO to get the fill plug out. I broke a cheap 10mm allen socket at first attempt. Got a new one that was much stronger from Napa, tried again. After putting a 30" cheater bar on a 3/8 breaker bar, it still wouldn't budge because the cheater bar was hitting the ground. Put my front wheels up on ramps, tried again and it finally broke loose. I thought I was going to break the breaker bar.
