Maybe it was the exhaust hanger.. idk but I remember it not being much.

 

This is what I was trying to describe, sure the cbi cuts off less of the bed side, but it is also not as tall as the 4x one... So in the end they have equivalent clearance (4x on shown with the red outline, after a min of professional photoshop overlaying, heh)

At this point, I am going to say first dibs to @bobsuruncle for first one to actually say he would take them. Bob, I'll PM you so we can figure out details of how armor can end up in your hands.

 

Mine was a tight fit between a bracket that was for the spare and a metal shield welded to the exhaust pipe, but it did fit.

 

Quoting myself below, I did some looking late last night, and it seems the new trend is to go with 3.5" BS, which is a more versatile size for various tire sizes. Who knows what the future brings.
I will have to do more work on the wheel well area, I'm probably hitting against the pinch weld at this point.

 

I think you'll be fine. Doubt you'll rub the pinch weld but if you do that's easy and quick to take care of.

Just noticed this one... Yes, that's my ass highlighted. This is the result of several hours of wading for recovery and photos.

Everything south of the red line is fucking cold. And we were all like that.

 

Coming from Hawaii, I threw all my jeans away and bought all new waterproof pants. Also got the Winter coldgear infrared ones from Under Amour. My leg would of fallen off with frostbite. Lol

I get all my wool from Value Village. I've scored many a merino wool. Even got an Icebreaker sweater for under $30

Well, I am now upset. I still don't have my new truck yet after having gone through that process a week ago. The important thing is that I just got an inch of snow overnight. I needs to see how v8 and toyo RT does in the snow.
