Normally I like the sound of pure evil... But I'd rather not destroy my truck heh. Try to make it to spider lake or more exploring around liberty? Other trail ideas?

Damn Brady. I wonder if it's related to the sound you were already trying to troubleshoot?

    Related to power steering possibly?

    :(

Nice Forster! How's fire fighting going? You'll need to head up with us next time. We had trails planned but always good to have a 'local'.

No, I think the rattle was the spacer. This new noise only does it at a higher speed which makes me think it's a weight problem :notsure:

On the bright side, that clank went away at some point.

That was a LONG 14 miles! And that winch-fest was a hoot! NOT! Was great wheeling and meeting you all, hopefully we can all do it again soon. I'm in next month for Naches for sure, I'll have a couple more goodies installed on the Runner by then.

Let's make it happen, Stallone. I'll start planning. We were also talking about it this past weekend while wheeling.

Man next year we've got to try Moab.

It's going great. I just finished up EMT school at the end of June. Now the long process of finding a job begins.

Yeah I have been riding that area since I was 5 years old. I ride from the front door of my cabin up to lions rock on my snowmobile in about a half hour. If you are standing looking over the edge, and look straight down, you can see the big bowl. We drop down there and ride the hills. On the picture you took with the ridge on the right side, that's where we normally drop in.

    There's a '91 Previa All-Trac in the San Juans :D

Really though: If he isn't stuck on Toyota, there's some other possibilities.
Monteros seem to be pretty cool if you get the ones with traction control.

I hate to say it, and I hate most of the noobs driving them, but based on his budget he might end up with a Cherokee and the two of you fab some cheap front/rear bumpers for recovery points. They are stupid cheap, plentiful, and you don't care what happens to them.
