Took the GX on her maiden voyage this weekend with @Nimitz and my buddy Jesse.

The stock 4Runner springs only sagged about an inch with everything loaded up.

    ...

They probably would have sagged 3" or more if that 1" didn't place the axle on the damn bump stops, lol... Made for an interesting ride, especially as we went up and over Wenas this afternoon, where @GSPRunner showed up.

On that note, I got the e-mail I have been waiting for from ARB. Time to lift this thing.

I also went by Cle Elum Lake and Salmon La Sac on the way home to check conditions.

The lake is clear of snow. Water level is pretty high, but plenty low enough to camp. Temp was 50 degrees with cloud cover and rain... I imagine on a clear sunny day it'd be nice and warm!

[IMG]DSC_0220 by Alex Wilson, on Flickr

Everything past the lake is still covered in snow. The campground over the first bridge to the left will likely be clear within a week or two. The only snow there was the couple feet of snow that had been plowed off the roads, which covered the entrance points. I imagine I could have driven down it, but back up may have not been possible.

Also saw a nice black 2nd Gen Taco out there. Prinsu Rack, Tepui tent, black TRD FJ wheels, and some other goodies it looked like.

#1 takeaway from this trip is that I need to order a ladder to hang my Trasharoo. You don't realize how nice that thing is until it's gone.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me, @Bennett707

Probably not gonna get a better offer out here. I mean, she's throwing her favorite beer on the table. Take it before you grow old, living with regret.
