You don't need reservations, but it is small and busy. It's not much of a campground, but the area is amazing. Several trail heads to choose from. Bring your own water. I've never camped here, but we've hiked around the lake and picnicked.

    Here's links for info:

    EDIT:
You can also check out NF-7930 through Evan's Creek ORV. Great views of the Summit. That's where my sig picture was taken. (fyi - I got some more pin-striping on that road, not too bad though).

As far as I am aware, this is the rescheduling of the BBQ competition/install meet. I still have it in my calendar for Saturday Sept 7 at my house.

    Next questions then:

    1. Who is coming?
    2. What are you bringing (BBQ from someplace, plates, plastic silverware, cups, beer, dogs [the canine version, not the kind that get grilled and served on a bun], mod to install)?
    3. if bringing something to install, do you need any special tools? i have sockets, breaker bars, big ass cheater bar, and some custom ramps for a little extra lift (2 each of 7" and 13" tall ramps that you can't break). i do not have a welder or any air tools.
    4. Who likes fire? i have a couple stacks of stuff to burn so we can have a nice little bonfire. only rule to this is that my horse has to be put away before the fire is started. he really doesn't like fire.

oh, forgot to mention one other minor detail. it is legal to shoot at my house, so if you have a gun or 6, and you may want to squeeze the trigger a few times, you can bring those toys as well. 2 of my neighbors are cops, and the only problem we might have would be them wanting to join in with the shooting.

So far I think that's great timing for me to maybe take my top spacers off the coils.
For special tools, I have an impact wrench and a pretty good selection of sockets, plus some electrical tools. If someone needs something special, they should post up, maybe the collective has it.

Anyone else have or considering getting a RTT?

Looking at the "Tents on a Rack" GB on here, as well as some local options. Sucks - because there was a Tepui on Craigslist in Seattle for $600. Sold a week ago.

Going to try and (expo?) tour the Southwest... Probably a month or so in November/December.

Got it from Brute Force on a GB a while ago- I think it was about $850.

Also, sanding this beast is taking me longer than expected.

I am actually considering one. Since I have a toolbox, the Napier Sportz tent is not quite as spiffy. I saw a couple of RTTs during our Naches trip and they looked pretty convenient. Might have to wait a few more weeks for bonus check though.

You can count me 'in'. I'd be glad to bring a compressor and air tools if there is a need for it. Speak up if you need one. Otherwise I'll bring some miscellaneous tools. I'll bring the SWR meter in case anyone wants to tune their CB.

I'll bring some beer. In terms of BBQ, I don't know if there will be an interest level more than the 4 folks or so that were talking about it earlier. The BBQ lovers might be better served with their own BBQ meet? I'm just kind of trying to figure out the logistics of coming up to your place and getting over to a BBQ joint beforehand. If there is interest, I am of course 'in'.

Do you have a grill we can use?

I might bring my Browning Hi-Power for this meet and leave the M&P at home.

I would like to begin putting in my auxiliary fuse panel and 2nd battery setup but probably won't focus on it too much. It would take me longer than mod day to install it all. I'd be happy just getting the plan solidified and prodding you for electrical questions. Glad to help someone else out too.

Is your horse going to wander to the next door neighbor again?

You are thinking spring compressor. He is talking air compressor. We may either do it the "shitty way" or you can always go rent some spring compressors from a auto store for a day and bring them out?

I rented a spring compressor from Oreilly's to change my M3 springs. They charged me about $50 but it was fully refunded when I returned it.
