Lmao yup. I had a few go arounds with them, not going back. They charge top dollar yet quality is seriously slacking.

    Are floor mats a mod?
They did your lockers, right? Everything ok with them? I was going to have them do my rear locker as soon as I get my tank and switch and wiring in.

Yeah thats fine but that was just swapping diffs and running lines.
    - When they did my steering rack they put zip ties on the inner tie rod boots (uncut at that), @utroda noticed it in Moab. I had brought extra OEM replacements that I got from Rodland Toyota but they gave them back to me. Went back in and they put on this weird pipe clamp that i've never seen before and claimed its the clamp that I brought to them. I know it wasn't but they say it was. Third time back and they finally put the OEM clamps on.
    - They put the old steering rack in the box on my back seat, but didn't drain out all of the oil. Luckily I caught it before it soaked my rear seat.
    - They didn't put any silicone in the holes for my snorkel in the A pillar so I opened my truck up with a huge puddle of water in the passenger side (thank god for weathertechs).

All im saying is, in my opinion/experience, the quality you get isn't worth the price they charge.

Cut them shits off and throw these here bad boys in their place. Start to leak? Tighten them down a touch more.

No =( The dude followed me on IG the other day so I messaged him with no response. I don't want to call Fox and ask to talk to him... I think that would be weird. Whenever works for you I can make work for me. Just let me know.
I just refuse to mess around with sales tax on such a large purchase. For what it's worth, ECGS told me that return shipping (for your core) is typically around $45/diff. $90 for shipping vs. over $200 in taxes (likely much more if you're having them install everything too).

My total quote for the GX (just built diffs with 4.56 gears, no ARB lockers or anything) came to $1275 + my diff return shipping, call it $100. $1375 all said and done.

But you save a little cost on gears I believe. I think @utroda's out the door price was $100 or so higher than my out the door pricing so its pretty close.

That's possible. Maybe I miscommunicated what I wanted/needed back in 2013 when I spoke to them, or prices have shifted for the better. All I know is that when I asked for a ballpark price to regear my 4Runner it was a lotttttt more than the ECGS quote for the GX. Like 2.5x.

    Workin' on it....
I've had really great experiences with them and they always gave awesome customer service but the last couple of times I've gone in there to get quotes for labor for something that should just be around 1-1.5 hours of install time I've gotten like 3-4 hours of time needed which is how long it would take me to install it rather than a professional that does it day in and day out. Don't get me wrong, I am perfectly willing to pay a premium shop rate for a premium install but I'm not so sure about the excessive install times.

That's interesting....I was thinking about getting in on the group buy for the Safari Snorkel recently but had second thoughts because I didn't want to drill holes in my A-pillar. Others on here have reportedly used industrial velcro on the A-pillar with success.

Yeah I've noticed that too. They have also under quoted a few of my friends by a good bit too.

It isn't a big deal, just put some silicone to seal up the holes and you'll be good.

Was up on Sultan Basin last weekend. Some fun can be had. If you are seeking mud there is definitely a few less traveled roads off the main gravel that are full of mud.
