If the shooting is tomorrow, I can bring: 12ga, couple of ar's, ak, 22lr, 40, 45 and bolt 308. It's been a while since I shot or explore.

We need to do a TW meet and shoot. Just meet up, shoot guns, look at trucks, maybe a BBQ, short range clean up after.

Then again I need to just get out and shoot again. Ive got my skorpion that hasnt been fired, my MK12Mod0 that has like 2 rounds through it (zero through the suppressor!) and penty of other guns that need some lovin

And here I was, looking for anything more than 90 yards when I lived on that side.

Think it would be awesome. Ive done a fe wmett ups for other groups along those lines and its lways been a blast.

Well like i said in the olympics which is to far (undestable) for a lot of people. But its outside of Quilcene ~30-45 minutes. I cant confirm its truly 2k as the range finder we had was only good to 1200 yards but we did some triangulation and stuff and got about 2k. I didnt save the map coordinates though :( I just sort of know the way.

But seriously just pull up a FS road map of the Olympics, pull up a list of the rules, and tell him to start driving. If he hit the park by 10am, but 1 or 2 he would have an area to shoot

Gotcha! Olympics aren't too far for us at all! We're in the Tacoma area... and we road trip a lot anyway. We'll go anywhere. We drove 2 hours each way to Ellensburg for dinner on Wednesday because we wanted to hit the Iron Horse Brewery.

But anyway, I definitely have been wanting to hit more of the FS roads in the Olympics so maybe this will be my inspiration to do so! Thanks for the tips!

Not ot far from Tacoma but still 2+ hours.

Shooting rules for FS and National Park roads are pretty simple in its mostly dont shoot over roads or towards trails. Or shoot from roads. 99% of the ranger ive encountered have said shooting form the road means shooting on the actual road....so being 2-3 feet off is perfectly fine :)

What is he shooting to be wanting a 2k+ spot though?

Okay cool! Good to know. And psssh 2 hours is nothing.

I have no idea. Now he's telling me he'd be just as happy with 1000. Clearly we're gonna have to go do some good exploring out in the Olympics. You've gotten us a little closer! Thank you!

I'll drag his ass along to our truck and pew pew meet up too!

Count me in! Between a buddy and I we can provide a small arsenal. I've got lots of steel to shoot as well. Just bought a 4x8 sheet of AR500 steel.
