Heading east is going to be a crap shoot. Everybody and their brother will be leaving town to go camping. Highway 2 will be screwed with traffic all through Monroe and the other towns leading to Stevens. 5, 405, and 90 will all get bombarded with extra traffic and 90 will likely be stop and go all the way up Snoqualamie. If you do go east, I suggest taking highway 20, which runs on the North end of the state and sees far less traffic. From Everett, you'll only have to deal with shit traffic up to about Smokey Joint, maybe Arlington.

Looks like you dropped me in someone's backyard. Any more specific directions? I was actually talking about the Columbia River gorge (i thought that was a thing) but I'm really open to any solid ideas.

Good calls, I'm actually in Bellingham so I'm familiar with SR20. May head that way. Aren't you having people over that weekend?

Shit, for some reason it pulled up the whole county. This one should work better, the rocks I was talking about are the Feathers they are showing on there and you can camp on either side and walk up them from the South side.

And if you follow Vantage road all the way down it will take you down to a spot at the river that is nice on a hot day.

This guy up in Bellingham makes a hobby of restoring old toyota pickups. This was truck #40 for him, he said. Has done I think 15 1st gen t4rs. Is almost done with another one. Everything is taken back to stock, right down to the stock steel wheels. Super clean, super tight, everything is either in good shape or recently redone. The only weird thing with this truck is the fiberglass bed. Everything else was spot on.

Weekend after, Sept 9&10. Hiway 20 comes out across Sherman Pass into Kettle Falls, which is about an hour drive from my house.

You should just get someone here to help you and then you will have it down. Otherwise I hear that any Toyota dealership will install a spacer lift for $6000

I'm open to the idea. I have no tools, garage or expertise though

....and the dealership only quoted me 1200 for a spacer lift lol

I purchased mine at Mule Expedition Outfitters in Issaquah. They did a great job on my install.
If someone has the space, tools, and desire to help, it can be a rewarding experience. At the time, I didn't mind spending the money to get it done. I'm feeling a little more frugal lately.

I'd help you but I have no place to work. I took my F250's suspension apart and re-arched the springs so installing a lift should be easy.

Can anyone here recommend a powder coating shop near the eastside or greater area? I got a quote from AP Coatings in Woodinville and they wanted $850-$1250 to do my Pelfrey front and rear. Thanks
