Maybe 7 million acres in the last 10-15 years. 2015 was the worst year and was only 1 million acres or so.

gotta do that hunters ed to even buy a license and tag. I might have some game camera pics by tomorrow night. Last year I got plenty of deer, a bull moose, and packs of wild turkey. The deer here are like a major infestation. Eating all the plants at my dad's house. Dad is pissed so he got a tag for himself lol

Got pics of a few doe's and this buck last night. Right off of the edge of the lawn.

 

So your dad gets the tag, and he fills said tag using your hands, and your gun...
Also, when are you going? I have shotty and .308 to play, and was out trap shooting to learn where 870 is shooting.

 

My step mom bought a tag too lol. ID residents can actually buy 2 each. They sell the leftover non-res tags to residents. Gonna be here end of Oct or Nov 1st at the latest. Season ends December 1st in the panhandle.

I'm not bending the rules though. Dad will probably sit in a ground blind on the property here and I'll hike up the hill a ways.

Pretty wild. Apparently my neighbor's son lives right on the lake and is evacuated. Talked to him last night- he's staying here til it's over and has sprinklers going to town all over his house and yard.
