I feel like that would be extremely appropriate.

Screw having them dig fire lines. Set them up in a parachute, load them in a chopper or plane, then dump them out above a fire and say good luck.

especially now that I see RTT's on minivans and cars and crossovers all over the place. Beautiful pics. I was on the way to Idaho and a guy at the gas station asked what is that? pointing at my snorkel. I should have said it was a speaker, or a cannon, or something LOL

I get the WRX crowd saying "how deep in water have you had it?"
I have to watch where I am walking or I'll trip and stumble to their level...of some snarky sarcastic bro-ish remark...

several months back another young guy at a gas station asked me how often do i use it. I said well, I reckon I'm using it every time I start the engine. LOL

I get more questions about the snorkel than the tent by far. I have heard more than one guy telling his lady, "hey look at that, it's for the exhaust."

It was about a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house in Shoreline. The last 7 miles were a bumpy forest road, and very slow going due to the traffic from cars driving up to hike at various popular trailheads. We got stuck behind a moron in a Honda Odyssey that pretty much got hung up in a ravine. The lakes are full of fish, I caught a ton but they were all tiny brook trout like pictured above. There were some big deer flies flying around, but they didn't really bother us. I maybe had a mosquito bite or two.

Yeah up north this weekend it was fine, we did see a couple fires in the north cascades burning in the far distance. Probably a different story today as the winds have shifted west.

I installed mine when I was stationed in Cali to help with the sand. Even down there I get people asking about going in water not realizing it's was originally for desert use.

Nice trips guys, got all that front end fixes on the truck. Had some spare change and took the boy up to the olympics. Caught and picked enough food we stayed 5 days, 18in rainbows and berrys. We also ran every trail minus the rock hill climbs at Tahuya on the way home today.

    Poser shot after finishing Tahuya

We did get high centered on the tank traps at the south loop.
Cool place will probably go back when it rains a little, if anyones up for a day run.
