    Sweet.

Logging roads, some mud. Hopefully snow when we get high up.

Sunday would work for me too.

Moe bring your dog. Mine loves going in the truck.

Ben get it done, sounds like you may be one of the only with a winch which we need at least one just incase.

Seriously, you can't get too much more beginner than the wilkeson logging roads IMO. Most everyone's rigs will be capable at stock setup. We went pretty high up last year through mud and snow and I eventually passed a 1982 Subaru that had to be circling the drain. Had about 2" of rusted ground clearance and the dude was all by himself. Humbling to say the least. I'll but together a preliminary list tonight.

    That looks, AWESOME

A winch would be nice. If not, it's not the end of the world, I'm sure we'll all be carrying tow straps. Should be a good time, it always is when there's mud
    :mudding:

    Sweet, I'm excited

Looks gorgeous up there. Do you know where that is? 5000' up but there shouldn't be snow as it is supposed to be dry all week.

    Burnt Mountain Ridge:

Need to research how to get access to that specific road, and if it's even open right now...will check on it tonight.

*EDIT*: Looks like we can easily get to NF-77102 from the main roads: http://goo.gl/maps/FI4o9 then follow that to Burnt Mountain: http://goo.gl/maps/c0zqa

I have a poor man's winch...aka come along. 6 ton rated and I can throw that in. I also have a bit ass pulley that could be used that is probably rated for about 50,000 lbs or so. The thing must weigh at least 75 lbs.

My behind puckered just watching that.

I'm fairly certain none of it is factory. I have a 4cyl and I don't know any dealership that would do that halfass of a job on the wiring, but then again who knows ll. I'm think the previous owner either did it himself or had it done aftermarket when he had the brake controller installed. The hitch itself looks loke a factory hitch, but it could be aftermarket as well.

I will check the ground, I never thought to check that part. I know when I did some work a couple years ago, I had no aux power at all when the other lights did work.

That'll work, even if I don't end up going this weekend I will make sure Tallon gets it back.

I might have to go to Portland this weekend and help fix up a rental property so I might not be able to make it. If I am, I have a 9K winch as well and would love to wheel with you guys.

If you want help, I will probably have some time available this week after work. I sent you a PM with my phone number. My wife has my phone until hers dries out and works again. It went swimming in soup.

Anyway, I also have a 4 banger and have 7 pin on my truck that is fully working and I know how it works. It's all basic wiring.

Good question. Who started this whole thing? Maybe he should make a decision on this. Also, if it is Saturday, I will probably have to clean out my back seat so I have a spot for 2 of my 3 dogs, my avatar and signature specifically. The other dog is about to go under the knife tomorrow.

Sunday works for me. If anyone is against it just say the word. I get back from CA at like 11:30pm Friday so Sunday would be better but either way.

I was thinking maybe meet at maris farms right off 410. It's relatively close to turn off. Does 9am work?

Maris farms is bad ass if anyone is interested in haunted corn maze or picking up pumpkins too
