Weighing weather and snow possibilities, I'm gonna camp at a particular (fucking spectacular) spot off the 70 road. Probably 30ish minutes out of greenwater. Depending on weather there might be 0-12 inches of snow. Or more. I don't think the chances of success justify the effort required to find decent snow this week, but the weather might bless us. For those hunters... Just north of that area is a low spot that the aminals might be camping on right now. I'll only charge one backstrap for that tip.

I'm looking at heading out early afternoon saturday. If anyone is still in, text me or DM me a phone number before about 1400 Saturday.

Just to be clear, if it's socked in you won't be able to see your truck from your tent.

Campsite is right at 5100'. Anyone is welcome to predict the weather up there.

-3/5* for every 1000ft is reliable is what i was taught/use. That puts you at 37* Saturday night.

Does anyone go up bumping lake from 410 now that its open. I went by it sunday coming home from Rubicon/Tahoe.

Some great spots out that way. Saw some promising sites along 7036 and 195, ranging from 4800'-5400'. Great view (on a clear day).

According to the radar Stevens is getting pounded with snow and Snoqualmie gets nothing until 2am. Anyone want to come up north and we can go hit Tonga?

Damn, I wish I wasn't working tomorrow... and had my new shocks installed so I don't destroy the old ones.
