damn that sucks. I pulled out of a house deal that had all of it's exhaust ducts terminating in the attic. And that wasn't the only reason. The guy did a bunch of electrical work himself and had splices outside of the junction box and externally run electrical exposed to the elements and then an extension cord stapled to the siding to power some lights on the deck. At that point I was like what other slip shot bullshit did he do to this house?

So my replacement for my job gets here this week. He may or may not be into off-roading, but he is into hunting and fishing. Any of you guys looking for an extra person for these things come season? I imagine he'll be happy to ride shotgun wherever you go.

What area will he be living in? Modern firearm season for deer ends the end of this month, elk starts up in November. Bear goes till the ~15th of Nov, then it's mostly just critter hunting with cougar open till March 31st. Also unless he's a WA resident currently, he'll need to complete Hunter safety as required by WDFW or pay out of state price to obtain a hunting license.

I'm probably not going to have much time after this week to get out, I'm about 2 months away from being a father.

He is coming up from California. So he will need to get everything done, unless he's been prepping for it. He actually doesn't have a place yet. He can't seem to find anything in his price range within 45 minutes of Seattle. He gets here Thursday and will start looking harder though.

And congrats on being a dad. Huge burden, but can be so much fun... once they get past the lying down and not moving stage.

Boeing field. Keep in mind he's only been looking because he wasn't here yet.

I was working close to there when I first moved here too. Got an apartment at http://www.villagesatsouthstation.com/

It's gated, which offsets the fact that it's in Tukwila. Real decent drive to Boeing field. Decent prices. I'd recommend it for one lease term.

Will keep this place in mind myself for when my current lease is up. I don't want to afford the Bothell price much longer. Might even consider having a roommate again.
