There are about 3 trails at Evans that a moderately built Taco can do. The others u need lockers and shourt wheelbase. @bobsuruncle

 

Ya, Evans is cool. Tom and I barely touched it that one day. Left a lot on the table trail wise.

Drain and fill trans service, do at home?

 

I did mine at a "do it yourself" garage. Had access to a lift so it made it easy. Overall, not hard to do (make sure you get the fill plug loose before undoing the drain plug of course)

 

Did you do the obd jumper wire?

 

I did not.

I filled the thing up until it came out the overflow hole and called it good. But I also compared how much came out to how much I put in.

 

Do you have an Ultragauge or ScanGauge - I know my Ultragauge shows tranny temps.

 

Nope. I was thinking about getting some sorta scan tool.

 

my ultraguage doesnt have it, I wish it did. its a few years old though too. the newer ones can get it if you adjust the code in the setup page or something like that. looked into it myself but dont have the right ultraguage for it

Doing a Trip to Moses lake dunes the weekend of the 23rd if anyone is interested. Cole will be there sending it in the smurfrunner. I'll be following to winch him out. It'll be an overnighter friday to sunday for us.

You were a couple ridges over toward the Ellensburg side of things - looks dang close to my terrain in Naches though.

 

Yeah, we camped about 50 feet from the fence at the northwest corner.

 

Did you guys swap wheels and tires?

 

For Tahuya last week. Because my truck wasn't going anyway. Swapped back when we got back from camping yesterday.
