I enjoy the fixed one I have used, and the hand held are great. I have tried other hand held brands and they didn't pickup and hold sattalites as well.

Does anyone know if a BNC connector has benefits over a use. Looking for mine since I am finally installing it in the tacoma.

@twalchlii1 Hey Tom, have you seen a good amount of oil on the shafts and body (around the adjusters) of your BP-51s? I'll post some pictures tomorrow afternoon. I might have to have Mule take a look at them. I also might dial the coils down a bit. Waiting to see how much the winch and mount might do the job. As it is, I have to schedule a CV boot replacement this week.

I didn't know Mule was moving. Anything special on the 7th i.e. sales? I'm at work and have no phone signal, IS blocks Mule's site as 'Uncatagorized' and all the photos on TW are blocked!

That's what I was thinking. I'm going to call Dana tomorrow and send her some photos.

I'm wondering if I should be using limiting straps? An input on this?

Unbolt your lower shock mount and let the suspension droop. Is the mount lower than the shock? If so, your shock is the limiting factor and should be strapped.

Day 3: Are We Stuck in The Maze?

...as I poked my head out the tent, I noticed that not only was it windy,
but there was just a bit of snow falling - a sure sign that there'd be
no sunrise to capture. "Oh well, I thought - I got a couple good ones
already this trip, I'll get another hour or so of sleep and hopefully
the snow will have stopped when we get up."

    Oh, was I wrong.

@JDAM what's the status on your truck? I keep reading how the replacement parts are wayyyyyy backordered.

oh it took almost a week for Michaels to get the parts. They replaced the secondary air injection shit and I hear that Toyota updated those parts so they don't fail so easy. It's funny. You pop open my hood and everything is covered in dust except for the shiny brand new pump and hoses connected to it.

Did other people have the same issue and waiting on parts?

my offer on a North Bend house was accepted today. As long as inspection goes ok... I might be stoked with this man room.

From the various groups on FB and the growing number of posts here, I'm seeing people saying their truck (99% of the time 2012) with "x" miles in/out of warranty have died and gone to limp mode, in the driveway or even at the most unwanted time, it's becoming a big headache for Toyota. Just about everyday on FB forums, there's some explaining the symptoms their 2012 is having, and once they finally scan the CEL, the code that pops up relates to the secondary air injection system. I believe there's at least 2 CEL codes that can relate to the SAI failure.

Did they reflash your ECU with an update or anything? I had read some opinions that the failure is due to the programing in the 2012 ecus and not allowing them to fully purge after shutsown causing premature failure of the SAI components. I can't say for certain about 2013 or newer but don't recall seeing anyone have this issue post 2012.

I heard it was a big problem on Tundra's before it showed up on Taco's. Not sure if they reflashed my ECU. My code said that the SAI valve was stuck open. Still thinking about that bypass kit in case it ever were to happen when I'm way out somewhere.

Riverbend again(bailed out on the last one because seller was a dick) but this one is a dead end street and a wilderness rim property.
