    That's awesome man!

I've been watching CL for a good deal on one since i think they are coming out with a Mavic Pro II soon. Trying to get a deal on a first gen Air or Pro.

We gotta get out and get some footage for an overlanding montage haha!

Im thinking once the snow melts, we should have a TW meet at Gallagher like the good ol times.

I’d definitely recommend a Phantom 4 Pro over a Mavic.

I’ve been flying drones for several years, and been doing it professionally for a few. The P4Pro is the best one I’ve ever owned - and I’ve owned everything from a Phantom 1 to an Inspire Pro.

That being said I’d probably sell you my Mavic haha.

I got a mavic because I dont have any clients that need anything insane in terms of aerial footage and the full size drones are just too big to bring to some of the locations I shoot in. Also this is babys first drone so I dont want to crash something that costs as much as a camera body.

Yeah, they don't cost that much more but the quality is substantially better. It's basically a Sony RX100 sensor vs the cell phone sensor in the Mavic - the latitude you have in post is pretty crazy and it's way more stable - I've done shots over Seattle with a 6 second shutter before.

This was my old aerial reel, haven't had time to put a new one together. Most footage was shot with an Inspire in 2016.

    thats friggin dope

I've never owned a drone, so this would be my first one. But $800 vs $1500 I gotta stick to something cheaper for my first one.

Appraisal is good so just have to sign papers on the 24th. BBQ will happen when the weather is right!

I already have a set of wireless IR motion sensors. Base unit will alarm in my bedroom. Also have tripwires that set off 12 gauge blanks but not gonna use them. Animals will just set them off and annoy the neighbors LOL

I can't think of a charge besides noise ordinance. It's just a noise maker device. Not anything like a string going to an actual shotgun.

I figured I might use them while camping somewhere like Alaska or anywhere else with brown bear.
