This dude in Tacoma makes a box like that. The article just says if a would be thief gets injured you could be liable. Doesn't say anything about it being illegal though

Might want to think about that one again: The trees on the Lower Naches hit my plastic snorkel grill and busted it in half; replaced with metal. Even on 75-30 (Lonesome Lake), I was hitting the snorkel and getting PNW pin stripes.

Too late now. Tried to order a set of 17x8.5 Matte Black F5s last night the second they were available and 30 seconds later while waiting for my PayPal to go through they were already sold out

Yeah it’s really frustrating. Tried last time they were available as well with same result. Really sucks when the one wheel you want you can’t buy. I messaged him, wondering if he could work some magic for a repeat customer. But yeah this is ridiculous

 

I fear SCS needs to stop playing these inventory games soon or suffer the consequences. With other wheel makers gladly making good deals on wheels that are kept in stock and readily available its only a matter of time. There is a reason another name is flooding Instagram at the moment.

 

I think the demand is so high that it’ll be a long time before that happens.
