I planned on tossing the suspension on, but I know that bumper is gonna be a PITA. And I’d rather not have a shop instal it at $120/hr.

I've got an engine hoist that makes it easy. @JDAM can vouch.

well I need to briefly pop mine off to install the fogs. There just isn't enough room to install them while it's on the truck.

Slight necropost... Not sure if you've found someone yet, but Les Schwab's (on James) idea of "an hour and a half" and what the hands on the clock do don't line up. Dropped the truck off for an alignment, hung out in the lounge finishing my coffee (they do have free wifi if you need it), walked over to HomeSkillet, ate breakfast, walked back and truck was still where I'd parked it an hour and a half prior. I asked the guy hanging out behind the counter how much longer and he replied that I was next and went out and took the truck into one of the bays. Not long later (maybe 30 mins) they were done but they weren't able to get the caster into spec which I kinda figured would be the case (recently lifted the truck 1.5" in front, was hoping to avoid UCA's, but oh well). He had all sorts of questions about the truck when he brought it back. Apparently it was the first set of remote reservoir shocks he'd ever seen and he wanted to know what was in them and what they were for.

Sooo.... I'll probably go somewhere else next time.

that does make it real easy. let us know if we can both use the hoist on a day of your choosing. I've got some deer smokies from my brother.

Nah. Drove up on an intersection with a homeless guy and gal with a dog holding a sign "Need Gas Money." I had two jerry cans in the bed with gas that was getting a little long in the tooth and I was planning on dumping it into my tank and refilling with fresh. Perfect opportunity, right? I offered it to them. They looked at each other, then at me, then "Naaah man, we just need money for gas." Right. I'll offer up help, but I never just give money.

On the bright side @bski22 , at least they only stole the jerry can and didn't bust a window to take stuff out of the truck.

@Louisd75 I read your post somewhere and that’s where the idea to use an engine hoist came from. Awesome.

Similar story when i lived in an apartment building in Seattle. Neighbor girl came out front and asked for money for diapers. We offered to buy diapers for her but no she wanted money. Pretty sure her and her man were junkies with a baby. 20 minutes later they were trying to sell us an xbox or some shit like that.
