Dont apologize, i get it. Its actually really conflicting for me as a gun owner but I also knew several people that were killed at Virginia Tech. Nothing is as cut and dried as it seems and no one has the same perspective or life experiences.

Yup, completely misleading. People think that this initiative would help prevent taxes for all groceries. Which already, most groceries are not taxable by state law. Certain items such as sodas, alcohol, pre-made meals (think hot items from deli) and candy were taxable, since they are not technically groceries.

So now local governments cannot pass new taxes on those specific items, however, the STATE still can impose new taxes. So power is taken away at the local level and given to the higher level.

Remember folks, always look into who's funding these initiatives.

THE COCA-COLA COMPANY ATLANTA GA Cash 3,820,386.53
PEPSICO, INC. PURCHASE NY Cash 2,880,490.88
DR PEPPER SNAPPLE GROUP, INC. PLANO TX Cash 911,021.38
KEURIG DR PEPPER (FKA DR PEPPER SNAPPLE GROUP, INC.) PLANO TX Cash 284,226.70
RED BULL NORTH AMERICA SANTA MONICA CA Cash 93,874.51

None are farmers, local grocery store unions or the like.

The one thing I always try to get people to do is actual READ the fing things and not just the (often) misleading ballot titles. And to then look at who is giving the money.

But on another note...I got a new toolbox from a coworker. So ill send you pictures and stuff on the old one in the next few days

I wonder if the locking racks in cop cars are ok with that law... I mean, really it's a retention device that covers the trigger, not an actual storage space.

Thanks for the heads up. This will eat up my 35s/5.29 budget but will be worth it.

    Are floor mats a mod?
The thing that really pisses me off is that now, to buy a semi auto weapon, I will have to spend time and money to take a class, and renew every 5 years. I know there are a lot of folks here who are far more experienced than I, but as someone who used to teach Special Boats Group how not to shoot themselves during night shore incursion, and have owned and shot guns for nearly 50 years, it’s going to be a pain in the ass.

I don't think they even gave an exemption to prior military. Hoping a DD214 will allow some of us to bypass the training bs.

I'm looking at similar locking racks to stow an AR or better yet a 9mm carbine in my closet. I have little girls in the house so everything is already in safes. I see nothing wrong with opening your bedroom safe when you go to bed and then locking it again when you get up and grab your concealed. One is always unlocked because it's on my person or by my bed while kids are asleep.

That's messed up. What about LEO's? I assume that Hunters Ed counts as training but mine was almost 5 years ago. My questions is will all this end up in the courts?

We both know a DD214 doesn’t mean you can shoot/know anything about weapons systems and safety. lol Most of base pop fires annually and barely passes qual to begin with
