lol the funny part is thats not the issue (mine are new) but you got me to a discussion about how early BPs had a hydraulic "knock" they fixed with a design change

Will do. itll be an easy one. ~12"-18" long with m10x1 fittings. Might just end up buying a premade one depending though.

Still have to finish the body and then get it painted before i worry to much though

Most m10x1 will work with Toyota fittings. just be ware, that a lot of Toyota inverted flare fittings are especially long so buy accordingly!

yeah ive done all the brake lines for the most part already. just the soft line stuff Ive had to source out. The clutch line is the last one Ill need to pick up since itll be a bit different routing than a normal Fj40 for my year (drivers side slave vs passenger side slave)

the eastwood flare tool was the best investment i ever made for brake stuff

yup. But it's less than a bottle of good scotch. I'm sure someone here can find an illegitimate use for it.

Do you hear it when stopped or just moving? One cap could be bad in a u joint on the drive line causing it to have a slight thud and if it was in the certain position you would not be able to tell if you shook it one way. :frusty:

Buy three of them and you'll have enough power for a Tacoma.

And the price is falling, they're $76 now.

It sounds like slack somewhere in the suspension, so the first 1/4" of travel up and down causes something to hit something else. So if i hit a pothole or drive off a curb, theres no noise, but if i drive on I-5 by Boeing field, there is horizontal texture to the pavement and it will rattle with every tiny bump.

I'll have one after this weekend hopefully. The motor I'm going to look at on Saturday morning shows it included in the picture. :fingerscrossed:
