I was gonna say, you took that photo while driving a vehicle you don't have a license for, and then captioned it like that? Actually kinda disappointed, that would have been great.

Ha, I would have pit maneuvered someone at 18/90 interchange probably or just started raising the box and dumped the whole load right there for the rest of rush hour traffic to deal with. So glad I don't have to drive in the city.

Yeah my buddy has a chunk of land in Monroe and they keep getting farm cats and his wife keeps letting them in the house and petting them.

anyone get the issue where the passenger airbag turns off all of the sudden and won't come back on? I believe there is a thread around here about it. Might have to take passenger seat out and check wire harness.

it should be covered under warranty since its a life safety related part.

yes my GF was in the seat when we noticed it driving back from Oregon. In the past if I had a heavy enough back pack in the seat the seat belt chime would come on and I'd have to reach over and buckle it up.

Just went through some threads about this issue. I'll check the connections under the seat. I don't keep anything under that seat. Then there is some spring thingy behind the glove box. It could need re-calibration of the sensor. and perhaps a recall.

Seems to be a reset procedure... sit buckled in the seat and slide the seat all the way towards the rear of the cab.

Yeah if she's got her seatbelt on it shouldn't be off. Maybe check the seatbelt switch, it might not realize it's buckled.

I had to take mine to the dealer to have the seat sensor re-calibrated, to the tune of about $150... because it wasn't covered under power train warranty. The tech said it happens more with people who offroad their trucks, especially if someone "bigger" is in the seat while offroad apparently, and I had just got done turkey hunting over east with my ~300lb buddy riding shotgun. It seemed like quite the process to recalibrate it though, I could see the tech putting different amounts of weights on the seat and going back to the computer in between.

Just tried that with no luck. I can see all the plugs under the seat and pushed on them all they are all well seated. I'll look into all other suggestions before going to the dealership.

Oh I did have a very heavy guy in the truck in Oregon to go shooting and we hit a short off road trail. Maybe that's what did it.

Maybe try disconnecting battery for a little while?

May need a new warning sticker.

I thought one of the reasons to lift your truck was so the big ones couldn't get in? :anonymous:

Use a bed mat so they don't slide around. Or at least bed stiffeners so the sides don't flex out from the force
