OK guys. Wednesday sounds good for me too! Weather looks to be agreeable. Bring all your mods. I should have a good number of tools such as impact driver, torque wrenches, SWR meter, electrical tester, soldering iron, etc. I have an air compressor but probably will only have a couple of tools by Wednesday since I'm only getting the compressor Tuesday. I will have air lines and the basics in case you have a tool you want to use. PM me if you have any specific questions.

The kitchen is torn apart for a remodel this week so I'll probably just bring the grill out front and have coolers with random meat and beverages. A extra jack might be handy.

Any time after 09:00AM is cool with me. I'm just going to get up and start modding. If there is a special tool you need or a mod you want to work on, feel free to start a list. :cookiemonster:

    Let's get this party started!

If you could PM me your address that would be great, I don't have it from last time still, and I would get myself lost trying to find your place again from memory lol

Can't go wrong with the WOs. I'm super glad I got them during last year's GB. Seat heaters were nice during the winter, although I want to find a way to install the wiring more discreetly.

    Ummm... Hell yeah!

Also on a side note, I ordered marine gear oil, fuel stabilizer, 2-cycle Amsoil, 2 marine batteries and high quality battery tender. I'll have the gear oil changed out and batteries installed. There is plenty of oil and fuel in the engine - it started up beautifully at my buddy's (with water flushing of course) and the internals looked very clean when we took off the cover. I was thinking of keeping the tanks filled with high quality fuel and oil until all the old stuff is gone, but does that sound OK?

Also we had no idea how to get the trim working and I think it still needs some tuning. Electrical is a bit of a mystery since I've been so busy at work I haven't had time to dive into it. I am planning on sanding it down and putting on a fresh coat of paint while the weather is nice. Still looking forward to getting your experienced eyes to take a peek at it

I'll take a gander on Wednesday. Does the engine have a trim tilt button it also? Or is it just on the throttle or vice versa? Keeping the fuel in is ok. But I would advise not doing that all winter long. Yes fuel stabilizer does work but is totally not worth your time in messing with it if there is still some left over in the engine if it starts to go bad.

It seems like there is a trim tilt rocker switch on the engine as well as the throttle. I released the pressure on the hydraulic pump manually to level out the engine before starting it. Maybe that was a total mistake. If so, I'll bite the bullet and fix as needed.

Point noted on the fuel. I will pump it out before the winter and use it in other power tools. If you have any advice Wednesday for winterizing the boat, I'm all ears.

I'll fill you in on wednesday! Do both trim tilt switches not work? There should also be a screw on the inside of the trim tilt actuator that can be rotated to power or manual that will bypass the motor and relieve the pressure so you can move the engine up or down as you please without using the switches.

Neither of them seemed to work, but I only had 1 of 2 batteries installed and we didn't know our way around the boat. I did open the screw to relieve the pressure - now I just need to figure out how to get the pressure built up again I think.

We needed to do that just to remove this 'transom saver' bar that was holding up the engine.

Will, where's the meet spot? I may try to swing by after work on Wednesday to hang out some - don't have too much work to do myself, but might lend a hand to whoever needs it. Wasn't someone doing UCA's ??

Unfortunately My 5100's aren't supposed to show up until Thursday, so I won't have them in time for Wednesday. I do have a load of d-rings getting delivered Wednesday though, so I'll have that to do. I may start work on my dual-battery setup too.

Other than that, I can help with whatever other mods are being done. I can bring a jack and stands as well.

I'll be staining 400 feet of fence in the morning but I've got a decent sprayer so I should be around there after noon sometime to help out for a little while. I don't have any mods myself but I can help anyone with whatever they need.

I need your address again though will, otherwise I will get myself lost!
