This happened

I made Jim drink pink wine!

I feel like I'm staring into the 3rd demention of Jim.

 

Oh yeah. Well, $400 later we made it home. Not bad actually for 90 miles of towing.

 

The bar I've been frequenting in my neck of the woods...

Well shit. A buddy of mine picked up a sweet 84 Celica GT notchback. All original with leather, sun roof with some headers and he's not sure but thinks it's cam'd. The 22RE purrrrrrs nicely. 130k on the frame and bottom end. IIRC he said he paid $3k for it.

It's NOT the red one. He had to sell his Acura RSX to buy it but he didn't even have to think twice about it. So now he's got a 83 4x4 shortbed, the Celica, and a 85 Supra Celica gutted with a 1uz shoved in it. All with collector plates.

If it's broke down in a parking lot you're safer than if you can drive it, less so if you're broke down on the freeway.

That was almost exactly the time I found out about it. And it was wine, for the record. And damn tasty. I even held one pinky up.
