Mid front engine mount the 1uz with a 1st gen Tacoma front IFS. Throw a r151 with a transfer case and you’d have a money pit so deep Erica would leave you

    :crapstorm::crapstorm::goingcrazy:

I've already got a money pit for the next 18yrs, but at least he's trainable and then end result, reflects my time invested. Selling children is frowned upon and a hard corner to get into on the black market unless you know someone or have a crazy uncle that can find you certain unobtainable things.

Where do you think the idea of selling my Tacoma came from?
    :argue:
    Sell your damn Kia!

Why can't coil spring manufacturers get on the same page. I was wondering why lowering coils where labeled different than lift springs with 12k,10k and 8k ratings. I was confused until I found this:

    "Roughly 1 KG/mm is equal to 55.997 LBS/in. Easy way to remember is 1 KG/mm = 56 LBS/in.
    Here’s a few quick charts:

    700 lb/in = 12.5 kg/mm
    650 lb/in = 11.6 kg/mm
    600 lb/in = 10.7 kg/mm
    550 lb/in = 9.8 kg/mm
    500 lb/in = 8.9 kg/mm
    450 lb/in = 8 kg/mm
    "

I was interpreting 10k to mean 10,000lbs, and trying to understand why guys used certain coils was blowing my mind.

Ran the whipsaw trail last weekend... oh my heck! So much fun, hard to keep it on the trail sometimes cause the scenery is that good! 65 miles in 4low, made it through all the hard lines, skids and sliders need some paint now

Holy crap, I kind of forgot about the Whipsaw Trail. Did it over 20 years ago with some friends (they had 4Runners, I had a ZJ Grand Cherokee). I remember the Canadians we met up with really wanted our bug spray, since it was 100% DEET and they couldn't get that in Canada.....

I keep forgetting we have an all wise and experienced one amongst us. You can predict the future with great detail because you've lived the future. From here on out I shall refer to you as "Tom-stradamus".

Hey man, having a broken childhood was surprisingly cheap. If you get decent healthcare, even the therapy is reasonably affordable.

Moved out at 19, haven't depended on my parents since (college/house/wedding). I hope my kids feel the same way about being independent but yeah I agree, will always want to have their back JIC.
