Are any of you guys stereo nerds? I'm going to buy a new headunit for my 911 (it currently has an old Pioneer AVIC from 2006).

I've narrowed it down to the these two:
    Sony XAV-AX1000 - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_158XAV1000/Sony-XAV-AX1000.html
    Pioneer AVH-501EX - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_130501EX/Pioneer-AVH-501EX.html

The Sony is currently in first place because it has a very OEM look to it and has a volume knob and I like the UI. In terms of features they seem to be pretty much the same, except the Pioneer has HD radio and you can change the back light color on the buttons (the Sony is white only), both of which are a plus for me.

Is there something else I might want to consider? I'm not that concerned about CarPlay or Android Auto, I just care about Bluetooth streaming, which they both do.

Saw this right-hand drive putting through Ballard the other day. Can't say I've seen one before. Late 80s perhaps?

Early 80s to end of 90s? Its actually still made just internationally (and updated body styles). Hopefully he had the turbo diesel version.

Fun fact...it goes by another name too. I dont remember the other name but in Spanish "Pajero" is derogatory.

another one of these random just saw it in a video and then again browsing craigslist

Think my review of the SOS skid plate will get approved and put on the website?:

Haven’t received it yet because of a shitfuck shipping company that doesn’t have a clue of how to properly design a damned webpage. That’s right i have a tracking # but no place to enter the number. Also they keep the shipping info so secret from the retail employees that they can’t tell me what in the fuck is going on. Two of the numbers listed on the website are dead ends. Fastenal customer service? LOLOLOLOLOLLOOLLOLLOLOOOLLLLLOOOOL FUCK FASTENAL.

I’ll see if i can Edit this after submission and update about the skid plate itself when it/if arrives. Hopefully my fingers and joints won’t be arthritic from old age by the time it gets here.

Had no idea a Dodge Raider was a thing. Looks awfully close to a Land Rover Defender.
