Just vacationing with the fam. We hit up Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Osaka was our favorite by far. Yeah, Shibuya is for the younger folks, we stayed a little east but everything isn't too far a way via rail.

 

And it's like this completely around you at the Tokyo Skytree tower. ~14 million people.

 

That's unreal. Had no idea that Tokyo (Yokohama) is the largest metropolitan area in the world.

 

Not to be a 1-upper, but when i was in Mumbai, a few people told us close to 18 million people live in the city but many are undocumented or homeless. That place is

 

Also not to be a 1-upper, but there are 977 people in Ennis, Montana. That is where I want to move.

Edit; to be fair it’s also not a town, just a town site (no post office, or gas avalible) so I guess technically it’s enumclaw even though I’m 15-20 minutes from there

 

I get anxiety just watching videos of the congestion there.

 

For now theres only 977. Give it a few more years and if Bozeman/Four Corners keeps booming like it has it wont be as attractive.

 

To cross the street, you just walk into the street and cars, massively overloaded semis from the 60s, mopeds and tuk tuks just swerve around you. There are no crosswalks and sometimes you just have to walk across like 6 lanes of traffic.

Lucky. If I didn’t have to work in Seattle I’d live farther south.

I could work elsewhere but I make way more in Seattle and my retirement is there.... only 37 more years till retirement, and I can get out of here. but who’s counting
