That would be awesome. Though, I think this would be for the alternator / battery connection. Not the alternator / engine connection.

I'm waiting to hear back from the vendor to confirm which it is.

    :annoyed:

Asked about an OEM 3rd gen alt connector. Online tech pointed me here. Guessing this is to the engine as he explained they did not carry connections to the alt/battery. Possible an eylet connection?

    What’s the issue?

Generally speaking, the + cable going to the battery is a large gauge wire with an eyelet on it.

Looking into the possibility of an increased voltage alternator (3rd gen) as I recently purchased an AGM battery. Emailed Singer Alternators asking about a 3rd gen +voltage alternator. He explained he has an increased voltage alt that works with a 4 pin connection. Everything I've read online and spoken to a few TW peeps with says there isn't a voltage solution for 3rd gens. Figured I would give it one last shot before relegating myself to an external battery minder to plug into once a month.

    Singer's response:

The alternator itself has a two wire connector

    Thanks Justin.

Just to confirm I'm reading this correctly: The alternator has two different wire connections (engine & battery), but does not specify the configuration of the individual connections themselves?

    Yay.

Lady in the lexus hit the corolla hard enough to slam into me and destroy her front end.

My rear bumper looks relatively unscathed aside from some paint.

My back and neck on the other hand...:annoyed:

That sucks. Looks like Maple Valley by 169 and 18. People get impatient there, but that looks more like distracted driving.

Yikes. Have the shop check the frame just in case. Sometimes stout bumpers transfer energy to the frame and bends it instead of crumpling.

Definitely distracted driving. It's always stop and go around rush hour there so you had to have been staring straight at your screen to hit the car hard enough in front of you to slam into me.
Yep will get it checked out, along with the welds in the bumper. 2nd time I've been rear-ended in less than a year.

    Get your neck/back evaluated.

Awesome the bumper stood the test.

4 out of 5 TWers suggest that you should move back to Newcastle and avoid the 169 (a.k.a. the 2nd death road, next to hwy 18 but not nearly as deadly at CA 138 between I-15 Riverside and 14 Palmdale)

Man I drive on 169 to get home and its closed like once a quarter because some drunk ass bucket crossed the center line or drove into the woods going 100mph

Yep, went to straight to urgent care. Neck and back are sore, got some anti-spasm meds and what not. Will have to do physical therapy again.

I could move back to newcastle, but i'd have to downgrade to a tiny fixer-upper with a small yard and still be in the Renton school district lol.

I've seen a head-on collision happen right at that bar and burger addicts place. People just lose their ability to drive once they hop on 169 for some reason.

I am surprised that WADOT hasn't put in better center median controls giving the speeds (50mph vs 50mph)
