I keep asking the dentist to add a drop, but he just looks at me like I lost my mind.

He’s gotta keep you coming back for work to justify his existence. Makes sense.

It's actually not terrible. They maintain their roads unlike the forest service. :bananadead:

Besides.... It's hunting season, and I'm not supposed to be hunting in the watershed. :anonymous::spy: I can't really hunt Issaquah Hobart road and highway 18 on the way back. :D
It's pretty much a wash time wise, 1hr 20min through headworks at Palmer junction or the same amount of time up 90 and over stampede from Snoqualmie.

You and I remember the drive through the watershed vary differently.

This time of year though, I would usually go over Stampede or take the tie road up to Greens Pass if I was working in Lester. Because having a firearm in your truck through the watershed is illegal.... And I would never do anything like that. Although this is also the time of year all the f-ing mushroom pickers would show up in their minivans or outbacks with street tiers and would end up in Lester with two or three flat tires and expected YOU to help them out.:censored: Just for that reason half the time I would go through the watershed and tell them "sorry I can't have anyone in my truck". I would stop and let the watershed inspectors know and the response was usually "dammit, another one".

Well the outfit, not sure if you know of them, that does the road maintenance for Snoqualmie also has a contract with Tacoma, and they do a fucked up job. Pretty much just roll the marbles around and the corners turn into death traps. They Seriously suck. I'm currently crushing 10,000yrds of rock for Tacoma to use for road maintenance. 5000 1"1/4minus and 5000 4"minus. I'll be in Nagrom for another week or 2 probably, then I'm headed up to the city of Everett watershed at lake chaplain to crush for them also. It's not usually this busy for us this time of year. We finished that bridge at Black Creek and haven't heard of anything coming up for Campbell yet.

Wouldn’t be a wash if you lived at my house..... literally my back yard, but I have to go all the way around like a turd.

And the fact that stampede is still good in 2wd is why I said it’s not worth the drive from snohomish. Might as well wait until early December

With my luck the boss would send me to Everett watershed instead and a guy from Snoqualmie down there. o_O

I wouldn't mind living out in that area though.

Damn - those are all great options. I think 10mm sockets are the right choice :D

    Anyone into planted tanks/aquascaping?

I just started working on a 10g tank. I reused existing plants and keeping the kids' guppies for now. Going to get some good substrate to grow some carpeting foreground plants

My neighbor is into coral tanks. His setup has a huge main tank (200 gallons?), plus filtering and quarantine tanks in another room (connected via plumbing between the rooms). It's pretty cool.

I have A 40 gallon that I’ve been neglecting lately. I have a half a dozen or so neon tertras, 2 tiger barbs (down from five, they’re easily 3years old), an angel fish and Steve, the pleco.

I had an old car buddy back in my honda days who built his house with an aquarium room. 500g tank that was built into a wall and had a whole room behind it dedicated to the pump/filtration tanks and what not...that's way too much for me. I'm going more for the "moving art" type like this

Plecos are always cool I had a lil mini one that would come out pretty much only at night. I had a 50g for a while and got rid of it when I moved. I like the 10g for now since it's low maintenance. I might get another to do a forest type scene, kind of want to recreate a path from a hike.

I’m trying to get Steve to be a world record pleco. As I’ve stated before, I’m on TRT. I always have a little left over. Not saying I’ve contemplated giving him a boost, but i have Contemplated giving him a boost
