No sir. On a flat bed you will drill a hole in each corner through the camper base, and the tray. Then bolt her down. Swing by tomorrow, we have one going on a 1st gen Tundra.

Great snow off of NF70 near Greenwater. Apparently some shit happened at a snowrun meet that I was unaware was going on lol. Anyway, I guess we'll see what happened there eventually.

Come on, spill the drama, inquiring minds want to know! Did some IG/Overlanders get all bent out of shape their "party" was crashed or something? Show up with the wrong brand of truck? I'm bored, help me out with some riveting tales!

there is another thread for Stampede snow run 12/15. I was supposed to go but stayed up late the night before and felt bad about not making it. Still don't know what happened.

@PacNW_Taco and me went out on Saturday.

I'd like to know too! I wasn't apart of that group. Had no idea it was going and I guess we lucked out by not running into the pack this time

Thanks man. Ended up getting stuck here trying to get that shot lol. I need a real camera. Trying to win this fuji from a work raffle...

Spill beans now! Right now!!! Grrrr

Ok so got the 911 call around 15:00 yesterday from a bud that was going to "get a Xmas tree" off I-90 exit 47 and up 5510 (Hanson Creek or something like that).
The photo sent to the group was an F150 on street tires and only 3 tires on the snow, 4th was dangling off the edge.
The story goes that F150 on a single track, moved over to let another vehicle come down, well he got stuck.
Along comes another dillhole offering to "get em out", made it worse by F150 3 wheeling it and hanging off edge.
Had to snatch block off a tree about 50' up in elevation and winch with a tow strap.

I don't think so? Wrong location. The snow run started down south off of 410.

    1.5hr

I stated that we needed a snatch block to keep the rear from sliding but my snow experience wasn't taken seriously. so add 45 minutes to a 25 minute recovery. An 02 4runner thought he could muscle that F150 out with just a winch and a 20' strap.

On the way back to civilization, my bud stated that we should have listened to me...

    Inner small victory ...

Seems like a fine line between helping vs. making it worse.

Took a second look at those photos. Holy shit that is close.
