Lets try to get a gameplan for a tahuya run. My taco is totally stock except brand new 31" toyo mud terrains that i wanna try on trails. I think tahuya is sounding good for a get to know my taco off road type of trip!

So who has the silver Taco with a factory roof rack and a grey devil horns emblem in Greenwood?

So who is game for a tahuya run?? Sounds like a just get out in the woods and cruise trail, not technical so stock rig friendly. I got myself and a coworker wanting to go say within 3 weeks, possibly this weekend or 2nd weekend in october, which almost leaning toward that as it gives more time for anyone interested to plan!

I'd be down for a few weeks into October. Everything is still really dry and dusty as hell. So if we can get a couple days of rain first that would make it a lot more enjoyable. I also gotta get some shit straightened out with my truck before I get back on a trail.

Awesome i agree on the dust and hope for some rain before we go, and i need to do some things as well. Still need to do the baseline after purchase fluid changes. All the major stuff ie trans, axles, tcase, and journal it to keep records. Ive had the rig for month now. Just checked everything after purchase and fluids all looked good/up to date. It went right into commuter status so havent had time. Hope ya get your issues figured out soon amigo.

If it is a few weeks into october I can make it happen. I'm busy the next two saturdays, and I want to get some billys and have them installed before.

Thanks! They're made by Hanneman Fiberglass Inc. and called "Ivan Style". Here's a link: http://www.hannemannfiberglass.com/custom.asp?id=457567&page=127 (Images aren't working, but it might just be my browser)

I'm in for a Tahuya Trip! The 2nd weekend in October works well for me.

I'm not the best photographer. I didn't get pictures of everyone's rigs but this is what I got.

As you can see it's one of the more scenic trails out there. If you guys do decide to run Tahuya keep me posted. I need new rear shocks and I got two possible sensors that are misbehaving, making my truck difficult to start and making me very depressed.

Hey Chris! Great to meet you the other day. Thanks for making it out. We will definitely need to have an LT with us. Keep an eye on this thread and we will try to remember and PM you as well when we have another outing.

Got a multimeter but owning a $10 Harbor Freight multimeter is not going to really help since I have no idea how to test stuff. I have no clue how to even fix the repeated blowing of the taillight fuse issue I'm personally experiencing. :(

I've found some stuff on you tube about how to test sensors with a multimeter. Electrical stuff is just plain confusing though. Ill have to do more digging or find someone that knows what they are doing and get them to show me.

I also say we set a tentative date for Tahuya in mid October. If my truck isn't ready to go I can ride along with my uncle in his 92.

    Hey guys,

Time to annouce the big news.. I'm moving to Texas October 15th!!

NW weather is not for me.. I had been planning on moving back to Phoenix, but my sister talked me into Texas. Her and my brother in law are stationed at Ft. Hood and live a few miles off base in Killeen. I am moving in with them until I figure out long-term plans. For now, hot weather and spending time with them before they deploy to Afghanistan is enough for me to move there!

I have greatly enjoyed being part of TWNW. Hopefully we can get together for another meet before I join up with TWTX!!
