Wow that’s crazy about Big 5... Warn wireless controller I am the opposite of @JDAM and never really use it. I tried to use it recently and it didn’t work lol... will check on that today again. Hopefully it’s not just broken without being used ever.

on the “couple times” (this is a number between say 8 and 75) I had to winch myself or others out with my wireless smittybuilt it only malf’ed once. Replaced the battery and no more issues. Well, still got stuck but winch worked.

 

Anyone know the workaround to get up above carbonado? I know the locals are using old logging roads that they opened but I can’t seem to find them

You can’t get up to the one way bridge over the carbon river anymore (up to surprise lake, and coplay lake). The road washed out during all the flooding right past the fairfax bridge. Only way to get up there (for the locals) is some old roads.

I think they may have passed out keys for people who live up there but I was hoping they just temporarily left the gate open.

 

With one of these you've got a key to any gate with multiple locks, 3+ on it. It's actually stupid easy if you understand how the latch mechanism works. If you don't know, I'll show you some time.

 

like the Campbell Global gates? I always wondered how the latch inside the box worked. Not that I want to sneak in there but would be interesting to know.

Yeah, the gates that have a lock box with multiple levers and then a lock on each lever. An old solid brake line works too.

 

You still looking for a PS4? I have a launch day PS4 I'd sell. I hardly use it anymore. The sucky part is I have a bunch of digital games too. Wasn't thinking, there's zero resale value on digital games.
