The day is Sunday Feb 9th...but I'm flexible. Can't do the 8th. But if it's another weekend it could be Saturday or Sunday.

Any of you guys know of a good muffler shop in the Olympia area? Looks like I might want to take care of things a little quicker. The gap in my exhaust is spraying condensation everywhere under the truck

Also, I haven't explored into the territory of exhausts. I'm hoping to reroute the low hanging pipe behind the t case. If there's a good post on someone who's done that, let me know please

Here's a couple of pics, Mike. Took about 2 hours. I went to Dan Fast in Bellevue. Probably got overcharged (cost me $200) but I felt they did a good job.

I ended up wrapping some of the exhaust with a high quality exhaust wrap, which still looks to be in great condition. Mostly in areas where it travels close to transfer case, etc. Makes it so I can even touch the exhaust with my hands when it's hot.

I can go to Barlow Pass Sunday the 9th.

The F.S. website (http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/mbs/home/?cid=stelprdb5150593) says the road is open to Darrington as of January 24th.

My truck is stock with good Toyo tires. I've got chains and a shovel.

I like to stop at the Big Four Ice Caves and hike up to the caves to watch the avalanches, from a safe distance.

Mike not sure if there is a Bucky's near you, but I have heard they do good work for a good price, but that is also doing factory mufflers and such. They should be able to help you out.

My truck was towed to the dealership this morning. Crossing my fingers and now the waiting game begins. The service adviser at Michael's called and let me know they would take a look and call me back this afternoon.

I've talked to the guys at Quality Muffler on 4th Ave. before, specifically asking about a new higher clearance Y-Pipe. I remember him saying it would probably cost about $200 for a custom, mandrel-bent pipe. He seemed to be honest and took the time to shoot the shit with me about the Taco. It might be worth a shot to stop by and talk to them.

Also, there's Walt in Chehalis (Tallon and I have known him for years). I think he still has his tube bender and could likely make you a new Y-Pipe, but I can't speak for him as far as cost/design details go.

Give me call anytime if you want to "Taco 'Bout it" :D :D :D

Sounds good to me man! I am hoping to get the carpet back today, and put the interior back together. Once it's all in there, gonna hit all the fabrics with some Febreze and Mold/Mildew inhibitor and let the blower run on it for one more night.
