It’s easiest to do with another person in the truck turning the wheel to the left and right while you’re underneath watching for movement

Check your lower shock bushing...i was getting some gnarly pop/bind sounds while turning and this seems to be the culprit (at least for me).

Had the same thing happen to me on my 5100’s I switched them out to fox’s and that’s the first thing I checked once the popping started they look good tho I’m thinking it’s either CV’s or upper control arm bushings but I’ll use @Usethe2nd advice and get under the truck this weekend and have the girlfriend turn the wheel I’ll update once I figure out what the culprit is!

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
I'd be ok if he needed to drill it to make them fit a second gen. Jim welded it up for me last minute for something similar a few years ago. I bought a CVT tent and needed to pick it up in Bend and headed on a 3,500 mile road trip from there. Jim was bending and welding 72 hours before I needed to leave. I would still be using it, but once I got the tent I realized it wasn't long enough and I needed it a little bit taller.

Oregon's a great place to get tents apparently. Mine wasn't used, but it did come off CVT's "scratch and dent" section.

Nice, Im picking up a 23zero from wanderlust overland, they're the closest retailer and I'm most likely going to have some friends in Oregon do the actual purchasing and skip the $2-300 in sales tax

Unbolt the mount on the axle and you'll get enough slack.

going to be a SHITTON of tack welding once it’s in and then a bunch or seam sealer to be safe.
