I’m in the same boat of “never buy a first MY” even if it’s using a proven drivetrain

I drove a brand new third Gen when they first hit the dealerships. Bought my second gen two months later. Third best decision of my life.

Yeah when I bought my truck the third GEN was still about a year away. I was tempted to hold off but my truck had only 18,000 miles on it and priced decently at $24,000

Took me 6 months to find a low mileage, manual gen2.5 when i got mine 3 years ago. My dad, who is generally tighter than skin on a weenie when it comes to money, surprisingly encouraged me to just go buy a new 18 since it would only be a few grand more. So glad i held out, several of my toyota buddies have 3rd gens and they offer to trade me all the time.

Well that’s not where you want to find an AC leak. Looks like I’m tearing out my whole dash to do an EVAP core…fun

    You taking ice cream OTG?

With dual zone you can set both to fridge temps if you don't need the freezer so I guess you can't go wrong with a dual zone. Freezer if you need it, fridge if you don't.

I not a huge fan of drinking super cold water at work. I have one side set at damn near frozen for sandwiches, meat, yogurt and ect and the drink side set at not gonna crack your teeth warmer. If we are going into town grocery shopping I drop it to all freezing so we can hit 3 stores and not worry about having to haul ass home. Costco and Walmart are 30-40 minutes from home so it’s pretty nice.

I was LOLing at the last part...

I drove to Kelso, WA at the Dick Hannah Toyota as I found the 1st gen nearly already Naches ready.
My Audi RS6 was a Park Place in Bellevue on consignment so I couldn't trade it.

I haven't driven any other gen Tacoma (for fear of gen envy) but have driven another 1st gen with suspension dialed in.

it's a fawn fest in my back yard. I just saw my fourth pair so far this year and one doe is about to pop. I can tell all the doe's apart. They are all related. The interactions between the different mothers and all their fawns is pretty funny. They are mean. Stomping and chasing each other around.

Which will come in handy when we head back during dredging season at the end of next month
