Anyone on here have any experience doing the cab mount relocation? I plan to one day go to 35’s and rub sometimes with 33’s since I didn’t cut far enough back with the cmc.

have you maxed out your cams to push the tire far forward as it can get yet?

 

No I haven’t. I just got my alignment done the other day and it finally drives straight. I’ll research it it though. Thank you.

 

I’ll call the shop that did the alignment and see if they can help me get the wheel more forward.

 

any one need a slightly used engine? and also a used peanut i found after removing engine?

 

Do you have aftermarket UCAs? You can get pretty aggressive with the CMC. The relocate is a fuckin shit load of work and plenty of folks run 35s without doing it

 

The tabs should be facing out up front and the rear tabs should be facing inboard. Also, if you have UCAs with built in castor, those can be effectively causing you to move the wheel back, since it’s adjusting castor from the top. I’m able to adjust and lose castor up top with my SPC ucas but that will push my tires forward additionally as well.

Yes I have jba’s. Ok I’ll cut it way deeper. The bushings are quite squeaky so I plan to replace them soon too.

my cmc isin't that much and i can tuck 35's..... lol. firewall is closer than my cab mount is....

 

I need to stop by and check it out one of these days.

Anybody have a spare/parts rear axle with drum brakes? I destroyed a drum brake this weekend so before i buy a new drum backer plate and have a shop press that off and the new back on i figured i'd see if anyone has a driver side axle complete with drum i could just slide back in...

 

Ya and I could have brought it to your house today. No brakes on it though.
