Do your homework on gear installs:
Just Differentials in Cashmere was booked 1-1.5months out @ $2800
Auburn4x4 in, well, Auburn was booked the same for EJS thing and might have been a touch cheaper.
Some other shop recommended by JD that was in Snohomish county would do it for $2300, but I got a sketch radar vib.

    Cheapest isn't always best.

Not sure if it's the one you mentioned in Snohomish County but Randy's Ring and Pinion is on Airport road in Everett. They are the in-house shop for Yukon gears, the same as Just Differentials is for Nitro Gears. They are pretty much the top 2 names in gears for our trucks and just so happen to be based in our state which is pretty neat.

I actually work like 5 blocks away from Randy's which makes it a tempting option for when I decide to finally re-gear but I have also heard nothing but good things about the Nitro Gears and have met the guys from over there at the NW Overland Rally a couple times who seemed like pretty good guys, so I am torn.

I did, I got quotes from basically everyone in my area and it was all roughly ~2800. There's a place in portland that was doing it for 1800 but several people reported their diffs leaking real bad or even one person had 4.88s up front and 5.29s in the back lol. So I passed on that for a piece of mind. I had a 1.5 month wait for Mule and I'm just waiting for my install date in november now.

I've used Randy's in the past for work on a Jeep I had and would use them again. I called a few months back and was quoted around $3k for Yukons 5.29 for my 3rd Gen.

1.5 months isn't even bad considering a set of Kings are around 6 months out. Or the wait for suppressors. Hell I received a chest rig this year that I ordered 12 months prior lol

They said they were doing at least 2 trucks a day. Pretty wild how packed they are for gearing. Also surprised they didnt charge an extra arm and a leg for being on the east side. That being said I got 10% off labor for being an avants member. So the membership already paid for itself and saved me some extra coin.

+1 for nitro in Cashmere, I pulled my diff and dropped it off so turn around time was a lot faster than what they quoted, but this was 2 years ago.

Right on. I've sent off emails to about 5 different places and they were the only ones that got back to me, and they did it right away. Plus they carry Eaton products, which I'd like their e-locker. Trip to cashmere wouldn't be bad

They did an Eaton/Harrop Elocker in my front diff! i think i might have been the first one they did cause the tech said he had to contact them to find out exactly how you grind the little bit out of the inside of the clam.

so far so good! It engages in and out a lot better than a Toyota Elocker I can tell you that haha I’ve really only used it snow wheeling and in a couple of tricky spots in Moab but everything has held up

i believe so, my brother picked it up for the shop. Only complaint i have is that it doesn’t have casters on it, which can be fixed easily

They're 43s on 22" rims. It seems a fuck of a lot bigger though

I wonder how far into the back of my headlights I would have to cut to clear those.
