Yeah I have read that same thing about Goof Off but in my experience as long as you don't let it sit on the paint and clean the area right after use I've never has issues .

Damn, I've been neglecting this thread

I guess there's no reason for me to pop-in here until my truck is running again :D

Glad you made it out of there, I was almost ready to send a search party after talking to David and the sun started setting.

The Engine should be en route from San Antonio as of today! :headbang:

Probably take a week to get here, and then coordinate how to get my truck to Auburn once it's delivered. Can't wait man, almost 2 months w/o my Truck...it's killing me!!! :goingcrazy:

Haha, thanks man! I remember going through that puddle no problem. There were a few deep ones right near the entrance that we played around in...just that dreaded pit I found turned out to be a bad choice :pout:

John @ ACRO (Auburn Car Repair & Offroad).

He comes recommended from a few reputable friends, plus he and Jason have extensive knowledge of Yotas (and Heeps) in general. I don't normally trusty shops, but after talking to him a few times and getting endorsed by a few friends, I trust him.

How about sometime in August, say about the weekend of the 22/23, and in Spokane area while exploring trails.

Will do man, once the engine is there I was gonna hit you up to see if Bill can still help haul my truck up there if I kick down some $$$.

Sounds good Moe! I will need to hang out at the shop for a bit to take inventory and run through what all will need to be done, but I would love to meet up with you guys and say :cheers:

lol, that sounds like an EXCELLENT idea Zach! Let's make a thread about it and discuss it more :D

    Hello

I think I am going to do the following.

    A. wait for Dakar pack to show up
    B. try to patiently wait for next mod day
    C. BBQ elk burger and provide mass quantities of beer

Hey Alan! Still considering moving back? :D
That was the night before our first TW trip to Fortune Creek. When I saw the news about the slide, I thought back about the same thing. That place was wet and soggy as hell.

I don't know for sure but I've used it numerous times with success.

    Hi guys!

Just catching up. I put in the differential I got from CL a while back. I had to clean up a bunch of pieces of metal from the axle housing but it has been working without any issues.

I've been gone 3 of the last 4 weekends and busy as a MoFo at work so haven't had much time to jump on TW. I DID order a new bed rack from BAMF during their sale last week which I am stoked about. I'm also thinking of participating in the CVT group buy to finish it all off.

I have a shit ton of stuff to catch up on for my truck. We should all get together for some modding soon now that the weather is turning around...
