I was joking with my tattoo guy/buddy and said, "yep, I think I'm gonna try and get one every month." He looked at me and kinda hesitated then said "uhhhh, you're kidding right?" I was like "kinda, maybe every other month". Lol

Nice, the night ain't over yet I guess. Just had this happen. Turned out of the gas station and heard a "POP!" Followed by what sounded like bolts hitting the pavement. So I just undid the diff side boot and pulled that fucking shaft out. :bananadead::mudding:

    Question/experience I had this weekend:
Slammed down on my slider from probably a 2-3 foot drop. Banged so hard, it made every light on the dash go off and didnt let me use my rear locker/turned my rear locker off, kept me in 2nd gear instead of 1st gear like I selected, abs light was flashing, wouldn't let me switch to 4hi/2wd, and collision light/dealership light was going off as well. Found no loose connections anywhere, nor did anything get snagged. Turned off the truck for a couple minutes while inspecting everything, and was fine after.
First time this has happened to me, and I have had faith in all the electronics so far since I've put it through worse, and everything has always worked perfect. Makes me nervous now lol

I have nothing to add, but I had a buddy have the exact same thing happen in his 3rd gen. Took a hard hit on his skid plate, same issues, restarted truck and everything was fine.

I think I checked over every single connection on the truck, both stock and connections I've touched. Nothing loose/dirty/water soaked. I was praying it was just a stick or rock yanking an abs wire out, but nada. Guess we will see if it happens again!

I wonder if it hit hard enough to shift the T case partially and got the actuator out of sync. I know that when I reclocked my e locker actuator it’s micro adjustments with the worm gear once the splines are lined up. With the ECU’s on these trucks I would think it didn’t know where it was past that stops.
