The annual 4x4 swapmeet is at the fairgrounds tomorrow.

Thinking about it. It'll be the first time in 2 years that I'll be around crowds of people.

lol, last time I went I ended up borrowing $800 from my buddy I went down there with and filled the back of his truck with junk. 02’ Chevy 4.3, the bell housing, a waggy D44, high steer arms and some 14” billies.

Less wear and tear on parts, better performance and gas mileage. On winter blend I get about 16mpg average, wouldn’t be surprised if it goes up during the spring.

Not worried about the cost of gas I just don’t want to fill up all the time or have to carry extra gas with me on wheeling trips.

It’s funny that the ancient port injected v8 gets basically the same mileage as the v6 4Runner even with the additional heft and awd. Pretty stoked to get ours, comes in a few days!

Oof. I have bumpers, sliders and soft topper and I was 5030 when I got weighed at the dump. This was before 35s but the weight gain to 35s was only 6 lbs each I think since my old nittos were heavy for 33s.

I do have a softoper and plywood platform in the back. Also some totes filled with things under the platform. I'm also not small.

Lol yeah. I’m only 160. Weight loss right there. I have a soft topper too but that’s only like what 40 lbs total or so? I try to keep my truck light as possible. My front bumper is aluminum too.

Any shop recommendations for the greater eastside/seattle area for major engine work? My supercharged Gladiator blew something up, and I'm hoping it is just the head gaskets.

This is from the owner of Auburn Car Repair and Off-road.

“The independent Jeep shops that know their stuff are my shop Auburn Car Repair & Offroad in the South end, Aaron’s Olympic 4x4 Supply in Snohomish, and NWD Off-road and Performance in Marysville.”

If you sign up for an avants membership you’ll get a discount from auburn repair and off road.

Adding that supercharger void the warranty?

Fairly certain this is way past warranty. The Magnuson SC isn't an OEM accessory option like it was on 2nd Gens.

Just sell the whole truck to one of those places that do the hemi swaps, or Demon/hellcat crate motor

Not the OP, so this was the answer for the jeep guys for the North end, but I am looking for a North end person or shop who is a Toyota guy for my 22-RE in my 4Runner. It had a leaky head gasket which I replaced myself and now it doesn't run very well and has no power. I am done trying to diy and am looking for some help or somebody who can fix it for me...
