That place is for drunk red necks on 4 wheelers. It’s not hard, it’s not fun, there’s no views, and all you’re doing is trying to avoid wrapping your truck around a tree while going so slow that you’d be faster on foot (which would also be a better time all around).

That's a fair assessment....do you have any suggestions for other locations to get out and exercise 4wd?

How do people feel about walker valley?

Has anyone been up to walker valley recently? I'm curious about the gatekeepers, are they doable for our trucks or is a shorter wheelbase needed? Anyone want to give it a go tomo?

I have the OEM skid just nothing extra there. I have been thinking of trying to make a 3rd gen skid fit the 2nd gen as they seem to be more available 2nd hand.

Shouldn’t be too hard. Might have to hole saw a hole for the drain plug. I doubt the 3.5 drain plug is in the same spot. BAMF specs their Skids 05-22

Huge thanks to @Buttskevin21 for chopping my cab mount today, less than 2 hours and I was good go. He did an amazing job and was a super cool guy to boot, I would definitely recommend if folks are looking for an amazing job for half of what you would pay at a shop.
