That's how drop brackets all work. That's why it's basically considered permanent

I’m getting about 13.5 city to 15.5 hwy with my 35s and 5.29s. Not too bad since I don’t commute.

Anything good going on this weekend? Thinking I should drag the family out on Sunday and go exploring/wheeling.

Anybody got any recommendations for a repair shop on the east side? I'm in Sammamish/Issaquah and I've got a fuel leak on the coupler in the engine compartment. I'm done with the dealerships around here, more concerned with a quality repair than cost.

Couple photos of the last 4 days at Naches. Think I pretty much ran every trail there, around 180 miles of trail time and 2 full tanks of gas.

Naches trail still has a decent amount of snow, with some very, very deep water/mud holes. Backed into one to see how deep it was, and it was up to my tail lights so I would definitely wait a couple more weeks for things to dry out, atleast for the wagon trail/naches trail.

Were you able to do the Shoestring trail? I was told it’s too tight for 2nd/3rd gens. Thought maybe that’s where you were driving through the scree.

Yep, squeezed through since my tires/sliders stick out quite far compaired to most. My buddies in their fj80/fj cruisers on 38s/40s did scrape body since they are alot taller than me, so definitely tight for a big rig. Shit ton of of downed trees, most of them cut but lots we had to monster truck over

I’ve been really happy with the Greg’s Japanese Auto in Bellevue. Guys seem pretty cool and don’t talk to me like I’m dumb as fuck. The bar is pretty low, but I’ve been happy with their work. I have used them for a timing belt, all my TREs and my wife always took her IS 350 there when she still had it.

The SPC ball joint went tits up. I put a spare in it for time being and replaced it with a new one last night.

How many miles you get out of your spc ball joint?

I’ve been getting about 30K-40k and I grease them every oil change while I’m waiting for it to drain. I just started my 3rd set. My spare was my good one from the first set. I’m not that impressed but at least they are super easy to change. Just wish they were a little cheaper for what you get out of them.

30-40k.. is that typical or do you wheel a lot? Seems like they should go longer on the mileage but I suppose it's how hard they've been used. I have brand new ones ready to install with some bilstein b8 8112 coilovers. I'm stoked!
