Yeah honestly if you don't cut a bunch and modify stuff its less impressive than other kits that are 1/3 the cost....

Yeah I guess you’re right. I don’t know why I thought they were more than 3.5 inch

The 2.75 marlin kit only does ~11.75" of travel, where as most +3 kits do around 12-13" of travel.

Curious what you guys think is a fair asking price for a set of sr5 anthracite rims with 265/75/16 falkens with a little less than 50% tread left. I’d include black lugs as well.

Imo tires with less than 50% tread are worthless, OEM wheels maybe $200, but I think everything is over priced and give away anything OEM

Yeah I hear that. I think there’s still a market for oem but we’ll see. Trying to get something to offset the cost of some new rubber

I’m trying to sell my old stock wheels as well. I’ve been keeping up on what others have been selling their OEM wheels for and it appears, to me at least, that wheels with tires (both new and used tires) sell faster and for more money than just the wheels alone. I agree with Wykedan that after losing a majority of their tread then they are practically worthless at that point, but others seem to be snatching them up. It could just be the times we are in too. People are looking for cheap tires to keep them moving. Lord knows I’ve had to find some cheap tires fast before! I’m glad those days are behind me.

Anyway… I’ll go ahead and drop this here as well:

    https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/wto/d/renton-stock-oem-toyota-tacoma-wheels/7515425980.html

Funny enough, I have already sold the spare. The only wheel I had for sale with the rubber still attached.

The problems I’ve always ran into with selling wheels and tires(granted the last set I sold where my scs’s with ridge grapplers) was people where picky about the tires….some guy was like I wanna run the ko2’s of ridge grapplers…. But hey that guy was from a 4Runner group so I guess they are a little special…
